WE ARE ON THE MARKET!!!!!

Don't worry if you don't recognize the woman in the picture, That is just our Realtor, Sandy Orbits. We are really impressed with her, she wasn't satisfied with the initial price that she thought we should sell the house for, so she re-did some numbers after having seen the house. We are right at the top of what I was hoping to get from the house, so that is Great! She was really impressed with all of the updates and remodeling that I have done and said the modernization will really help sell the house. One of these days I will get the pictures up from the bathroom remodel, but I still haven't taken the "after" pictures. For now, I am just happier than a hog in mud that we finally have the house for sale!

Spring means FLOWERS!

We decided to work on our curb appeal, since we are putting the house on the market. The cheapest easiest solution is flowers. We have a local nursery that sets up a flower center in the middle of one of the parking lots down in Waldorf all summer and they have Very in-expensive flowers. They looked really nice once they were all put in. We even had someone riding by, that didn't see us out there, make a comment to his wife about how he "Loves the way this guy does his yard, it always looks so nice." I hollered out thanks, and he almost wrecked his bicycle. When the Realtor came by to do her Market Analysis on the house, her first words were, "You sure do have great curb appeal!" Excellent! That is what we were working for! Anyway, here's the Pictures.

We are still determined to move!

Those of you up north already know about this, but we went for a little "mini-vacation" to look at a few houses up north. I was supposed to be back at work Monday night, however a nice heavy upstate snowstorm blew in Sunday evening and changed that for us. I did enjoy getting my first few snow shovel's full of fresh CLEAN snow. Not like the brown snow we get down here in Maryland. ....And we did find a house!

Zach's Easter Egg Hunt

Zach got his own personal Easter Egg hunt this year. We hid the plastic eggs around the house and he had a grand old time searching for them. He is especially fond of his new best friend Yam, the Lamb. He named it, not us. click here for Photoshow!

Zach the Cat-Catcher

On one of Gretchen's work weekends, Zach and I took a day-trip to Gramma's House in Virginia. He spent most of the time trying to find the cats under the couch, who were trying just as hard not to be found!

TRAPPED!!!

Back in February we got two "snow events" as they like to call them. The first one was actually more of an "ice event", that took down trees all over Maryland. These photos are from the damage caused by the ice storm and us trapped at our home because of a tree across the road with live power lines caught inside of it. I was supposed to go to work that night, but couldn't. They didn't get the tree moved until almost 11:30 at night. I did get to be on the news though! It's true, the camera does add 10, 20 maybe 30 pounds!!!! The last two pictures of the Photoshow are from about two weeks later. It had been 74 degrees the day before and then we wound up with almost six inches of snow!

The Big Helper

Zachary is up to his antics again. This time he went into the kitchen, pulled down the sweeper off the wall somehow and decided to sweep the kitchen. I was wondering why he got so quiet all of a sudden...... Anyway, looks like Misty got in on the action a little too! Photoshow!

I'm Back!

Okay, so it has taken me almost four months to get off my lazy duff and update the blog, but here it goes. I have alot of photoshows to work on and will be adding them all hopefully today. Descriptions will go with each one with, of course the normal clickable photoshow. There has been quite a bit going on, but I will delve into each situation in a seperate blog. Here Goes!

Zachary's Snow Day

Well, we finally got some snow in Maryland. So we finally got a chance for Zach to use his snow-suit and sled. I think we ended up with a total of three inches, which for Maryland is a veritable blizzard. The Snow plows were out late, and I think they piled the snow up in front of our driveways on purpose. Gonna have to move some of it or Val and Cory will never get out. They are heading back up north today. The cousins will see each other in May when we go back up. That's all for now! Here's the snow Photoshow .

Zachary's Birthday

Well, Zach's Birthday was yesterday officially, but we celebrated today. Zach's Aunt Valerie and Uncle Cory and Cousins Nick and AJ came down from upstate New York for his Birthday weekend. Our little boy is officially into the "Terrific Two's". Zach and Nick played all morning, took about a two minute nap, played some more, then we all went to Chuck E Cheese for a party, and of course so they could play some more! I am going to try and attach a link to this so everyone can see the photoshow if you didn't get the link already. PhotoShow Well, the kids and relatives are all asleep and Gretch is working on her papers for school, so I finally get time to update stuff. Hope all is well and I am sure I will have more pictures after the weekend is over and the family leaves monday evening. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!

New Baby's first picture

This is the first Ultrasound that we had done at 9 weeks, 2 days. I know it says 8/5 on it, but what does a computer now? We know how old she really is!

Welcome to our Web home!

Hello and welcome to our little showcase. Who knows how often I will update this, or if I will even get it off the ground, but I am going to try! Today we had our first OB appointment for the new baby and she(hopefully)/he is doing great. She was doing somersaults and waving at us and all sorts. These are the ultrasounds from today. I will have pics of ZR up soon! Well, I hope this blog stuff works out! Love to all!
